As human beings, we are the most complex mechanism in the world, not only for our physiological bodies but for our emotions. Our brain regulates all our body functions and stores all our experiences.
Here are some bits of information trivia to help you test and cope with problems in learning, emotions, relationships, and maybe finding a partner
1. How long should you nap to get the best results possible?
- 5 minutes
- 10 minutes
- 20 minutes
- 30 minutes
According to a study, 10 minutes was the ideal nap length compared to 5, 10, 20, and 30-minute naps. Sleeping for 10 minutes produced immediate positive results without grogginess.
2. What must you do to ensure someone learns something new?
- Give a video and photo presentation
- Ask their best friend to teach them
- Make a five-minute lesson to capture their interest
- Ask them to write down what they already know
In a paper published in the Cambridge University Press, the best way to share new ideas with your audience is to ask them to write down what they already know.
Most people like to assume they know best, but if you ask them to explain something in private (e.g., “How does trade with China affect the US?”), they’ll realize they don’t truly understand and will be more receptive to true experts’ advice.
Next time you want someone to get new ideas, have them list their prior knowledge. This is also an excellent method of dispelling misconceptions people *believe* to be true.
